Hello everyone. I have looked many places to see if vein pain is a symptom of IR or a side effect of glucophage, but have not found much info. I have had vein pain in my legs for the last few weeks. I have not had a period for about 4 months and have been on glucophage for about a month now. I'm afraid to mention this to my doctor because she may take me off the medication. I have lost about 10-15 lbs. this month from being on this medication and do not want to stop. It's not unbearable vein pain, but it is uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if anyone else has heard this???? The other thing I was wondering is how long after starting gluco. should I have a period? I almost feel like the pain originates in the same area when I have PMS, but don't know for sure. It's lasted too long to be PMS, or has it? Also, I never had the pain in my legs when I had PMS. Please help. Thank you!
