PCOS and Perimenopause

Most of the postings here seem to be ralted to women in the earlier years of their reproductive life. I have struggled for years with ovarian cysts, wiehgt management issues, hpothyroidism, etc. and am currently working with a physician to determine if I should have a diagnosis of PCOS.

My question is, how will all of thisi effect transition to post menopause? I think that my current problems are simply perimenopause. What can I do to make all of this easier on everyone? (Including me!)

Thank you for all of your help.
