Glucophage vs. XR? Can anyone tell me if they have had better luck on the XR than the standard Glucophage? Is the dosage the same, it appears the XR only comes in 500mg pills. but I am on 2000mg of gluc/day. Any information would be greatly appreciated. My doctor is great and is willing to listen to my suggestions, so I'd like to often him some information from people who have tried both.
