This topic ahs been discussed in detail, you should check the archives. In short: PCOS has an increased risk of miscarriage, partly due to the glucose imbalance. Glucophage helps to balance this and reduces miscarriage risk. On the other hand, glucophage increases the risk of neural tube defects, which can be countered by increased intake of folic acid (800 mcg/day is recommended). What is the measure of your progesterone nmol/l or ng/l? For your info
