Hi Dr Sam Thank you for your last responce. I am having my day 1-5 blood test today and my husband id having his test next week. Once all of the results are in my specialist will review the tests before commenting on teh suitability of Metformin for me. You said in you r last m,ail that you thought that Met would help all of my simptoms and help with prevent me from miscarring again. How strongly can I insist in trying Met, I know that my Dr is a specialist but I o not want to keep gaining weight with Chlom, and feeling completely out of controll both emotionally and physically of my destiny, I am not a complete controll freak honest but i do need to feel that i have some say in what is happening to me. Here in the uk wee tend not to question why and just go along with what we are told is best for us. I know that my husband is worried that if we upset my specialist, who is superb by the way, he will stop treating us. we really want children, and i am at my wits end with my weight it really gets me down, no diets or exercise reigeme help me to loose more that 2 stone. From what I have read Met seems to answer some if not all of mor prayers, I am realistic and I am aware that no one can magic anything better, but having been aw3are that I an PCOS suyffere since I was 19, I am now 30, I really need hope. Chlom put a tremendous strain on my marriage, and I am worried that my specialist will suggest it, or IVF style injections as our next step, lord I will lookmlike the side of a building if I take any more hormones ( i seem to have a resistance to them and i gain heaps of weight). Please advise this rambeling , hopefull woman. Thank you Mel
