Re: PCOS - Where to get Metformin

I ordered the drug but have not received it yet. I am going to my endocrinologist tomorrow to discuss it with her, because I don't like the idea of taking a drug without my physician's support or knowledge. I am checking my blood sugar levels regularly and I am going to take those figures into her to see what she thinks. Sometimes my blood sugar goes down below 60 and sometimes it is above 200. The time it bothers me the most is when it is low. I get nauseous, have a horrible brain fog and get very dizzy. I don't know anything about taking Metformin and Ovranette together. I'm sorry that I don't know anymore than that. I would check with your doctor to make sure it is okay to take the medicine no matter what it is. There might be a good reason why s/he doesn't want you to take it. Cynthia

>Hi Cynthia, thanks for your reply, if your dr would not give you metformin would you buy it off the internet and start taking it, I am tempted as everything I have read about it makes it sound amazing and that I should be on it but I just feel that if something went wrong and I had to go to my dr and tell him I am on a drug that I bought from the internet I would feel stupid, what do you think???? also can you tell me if it is safe for me to take Met with my oral contraceptive which is Ovranette??
