Hi Anita, Whether or not you are obese has nothing to do with a IGTT (Impaired Glucose Tolerance Test). This test is to check if you are IR (Insulin Resistant)--not overweight (obviously). IR seems to be the root cause of PCOS for many of us---and we all don't have to be overweight or even have cysts (despite the name of the disorder) to have PCOS. I don't know why you've stopped your BCP (birth control pill), but they can help to get your periods regulated. You are endangering your health and your body by not having a period for so long. Every woman should have a period at LEAST 3 times a YEAR to release the buildup in their uterine lining. The increase of fluid can lead to Endometrial Cancer and other problems. Please see a Reproductive Endocrinologist immediately! As PCOS is an endocrine disordser, an RE is best for your treatment. You'll probably be put on Provera to induce your period, and then BCPs to regulate yourself. Please make that appt now!! The longer you delay, the more risk of getting cancer!!! --Zowie :)
