I have been on Met for about four months now. I occasionally have wine with a meal. I noticed that the effects of alcohol are magnified. I feel very tipsy just at one glass. Yes, I can drink but very sparingly and I wouldn't do it too often. Since Met is metabolized through the kidneys, I imagine it is taxing on the body to handle Met and alcohol at the same time.
