FYI, Diane BCP (in Canada)

FYI, in case anyone is wondering out there, Diane is approved for "acne" treatment in Canada (as my doctor told/prescribed me); however, it comes in a convenient birth control-like package, with 21 pills, with the dose being one pill to be taken at the same time each day, prevents pregnancy and induces periods. But it's for "acne" treatment. *wink wink*

I asked my doctor about Yasmin, and it would appear it is not available in Canada.

I'll be starting Diane next week.... I'll let you know how it works for me. One thing I did notice, was that I paid $30 for it (a one month supply of Diane) at Shopper's Drug Mart, compared to $15 for Tricyclen at Walmart. I'm not sure if it is the drug store or the drug company (it's newer, so it could be more expensive). I do have insurance right now; however, I will find out if it is any less expensive at Walmart.

Joanna :)
