Libby,
I was on spironolactone and it is a god send when it comes to acne or
bloating. I can't use it right now because of the heat of summer. But
I used to have three or four inches of spare room in my clothes, and
when the temperature got warmer I would fill it, bloating. The spiro
took that all away, and I saw vast improvement of my acne within two
days. I was taking 100 mg a day for a year, it also stopped any extra
hair growth within a month. I have been having a terrible week four
trips to the emergency room in five days, I'm sure it was the
metaformin, but I had to stop all meds until my doctor figures out whats
wrong with me. So now I am dizzy all the time and on a super low carb
diet.
