hi Karin,
There is not any single article to refer to only good medical thinking and it goes like this:
PCOSers have IR, which develops into type2 diabetes later in life. BCPS are contraindicated for diabetes, because they deteriorate glucose tolerance (there is a pletora of articles on this from the 70-80s.) Thus many of us consider BSPs unsuitalbe for PCOS and it does not refer to tri-cyclics only.
