Hi LauraAnn,

What dose are you on? Many of us feel this way on the regular glucophage and the XR when the dose is too low. Since you have only been on it for 5 months, that is my guess. My RE says that each of us has a threshold we must reach before we will feel really good. I didn't feel really good until I was over 1500 mgs. day. Of course, if you take too much, you'll feel yucky too. It's a balancing act. You need to talk with your doc and let him know what is going on. Don't lose hope, you just need some fine tuning. :o)
