I used the drug acutane several years ago. It worked great and I havae not had an acne problem since. I will worn you that it has intense side effects such as dry mouth and lips and you can not get pregnant while taking it. Your doctor will even make you sign a release saying you will stay on the pill while using it. It has been about 10 years now and I am still acne free, but always take chapstick with me because my lips still get very dry.
