Re: Anyone WITHOUT side effects on Glucophage?From: consciousblaksista (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 2 Aug 2001 11:42:01 -0500
Alison, If you want to take the glucophage and you're afraid of the nausea, try taking vitamin b6 with it. My doctor suggested it to me today. She said that is usually what she prescribes for morning sickness and it helps. I'm going to try it myself. I know that glucophage works...the first time I took it I got my period in 3 weeks, and it came every 29 days like clockwork. Also if you take the medicine while on your camping trip...start with 1 pill once per day for a week then go up to 1 pill twice per day and you really shouldn't have any problems. One more thing, don't overdo the carbs and absolutly no alcohol, and you should be fine. Yvonne
