Hi Dr. Sam,

That is strange indeed, because I don't recall a single moment of drowsiness or sleepiness on progesterone. On the other hand, my sleep was not affected, and I was 100% more active than I have ever been during the day, and I had perfectly good night sleeps to boot.

You asked:

>My question is, what preparation and what dosage have you taken?

As for preparation, there was none that I know of. I was precribed the drug, and I started taking it that very day because I was fairly near the end of my cycle anyways. The dosage was 10mg for 7 days.

>You said that you had regular periods before, but were you ovulating?

So far, my doctors believe I have never ovulated. I tried charting my temperature in the morning but I found it inconclusive because my temps were wildly different every single day. For instance it would be 97.5 one day, then 99.0 then next day, then 97.9, then 98.5. I supposed my body just can't make up its mind. I have taken the Ovulation pee tests for 5 months in a row, spending a rediculous amount of money on them. I never got a positive result except for when I was on clomid, and my doctor told me clomid gives you a false positive (after the fact, ruining the entire month might I add).

I hope this helps Sam,

Muriel Montgomery
