Re: Facial HairFrom: Rumika (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 28 Jul 2001 21:14:48 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Joanne, Your friend might try electrolosis like I did. I tried many things including Nair, Epil-Stop and professional waxing, but the hair always came back and I had to keep plucking often. For one year, I have had electrolosis treatment so my facial hair is considerably less. I have not needed cream between visits for a long time and my electrologist said that she is finishing up with the peach fuss right now. Since this treatment hurts (I won't hide that), I buy a cream called ElaMax that numbs the skin which helps a lot. My electrologist orders it for me. I heard that Ambesol is also good. The cost for me is $44.00 for 30 minutes. Compared to the waxing I spent on in the past, it is not much more especially for permanent hair removal. Good luck to your friend. I know how she feels.
