Hi--

This is the first time I've visited this site. I'm writing this to Dona but would appreciate help from anyone else. I was just diagnosed at the end of May but was told by my OB/GYN that 6 months of provera might clear everything up. So I didn't really think twice about the diagnosis. I just went back for a follow-up (as recommended by my internist) and brought some questions along. He did answer them but I feel like I need way more information and follow-up care (he said I don't need to ever come back and see him). He's extremely well respected and everyone recommends him as a GYN but like I said I need so much more information on my course of treatment/options etc. I'm not even really convinced that I have PCOS. Do I need an RE if I'm not looking to become pregnant? I live on the Stanford campus so Dr. Cataldo would be great. Do you know of any other doctors in the area that I should go to for care if I don't need an RE? Thanks for all your help!
