I also have found a wonderful Doctor in the SF Bay Area at Stanford medical Center. he is an RE. Dr Nick Cataldo. He actually listens and EXPLAINS things! I think because it is a learning hospital they are really into educating patients there. I understand what it is like to have a doctor who is totally clueless about PCOS. I had been going to my OBGYN for 13 years and she NEVER diagnosed me. She kept on trying to put me on BCP and telling me it was stress causing lack of menses. she never bothered to look into it further. After my 2nd misscarriage my DH said I should self refer to a infertility specialist. I am soo glad I did!He wasnt the greatest RE but at least he Diagnosed me...he dropped my insurance and I had to find another RE...funny how things work out sometimes...I have the most wonderful RE now! Good luck to all....Dona
