Hi Julie: I did months of cycles of clomid up to 200mg with a regular obgyn until seeing my RE. I told him about of the symptoms I had while on Clomid and he felt that I was clomid resistant. I ended up starting my cycles with 50mg of clomid for the first five days and adding injectible meds (Fertinex) to acutally ovulate. I conceived twice this way and have two year old and four year old sons. The clomid made me very depressed, tearful, etc. My doc did tell me that I could try clomid with the glucophage if I wanted to conceive again. It wasn't really being used a frequently back when I was trying to conceive. He did tell me that it may take longer than using the Fertinex. You may want to discuss Glucophage with your doctor. I have been taking it since March. I am up to 1500 mg a day. I think I actually feel some better on it, and I have had a spontaneous period last month. That was my first period that wasn't induced since 1995. Good luck. It is definitely an emotional rollercoaster. Angie
