You can use it with depilatories (eg: nair). What Vaniqa does it get down to the follicle and slows growth. You don't have to remove the hair completely for it to work. "Hair removal techniques" includes shaving, depilatories, waxing, electrolysis, etc. The Vaniqa doesn't remove the hair, or stop it completely. It just slows it down (though it may slow it down a LOT).
