Re: Breast DischargeFrom: Dona (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 22 Jul 2001 14:12:17 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Renee, I don't have breast cancer that we already know and is something I have checked annually along with mamograms ...even though I am only 35 because of a family history of this. I just had my prolactin levels checked and have been under the care of an outstanding PCOS clinician (doctor) at stanford University. I just had a breast exam and complete physical by him 3 weeks ago.He did the prolactin level test to see if that is why I have this going on , he said this is COMMON with PCOS but my levels came back WNL.was just wondering if anyone else has been going through this. cancer is a very scary word to me I know your just trying to be helpful...but whoa..cancer?there are other causes for discharge as well.
