I too am experiencing severe hair loss...like 300 too 400 hairs a day. I went to the Dermatologist this Friday..and had a scalp biopsy done... The dermatologist can usually name the culprit to loss of hair (Weight Loss, Glucophage, Alopecia..etc.) I will let you all know what the results are. Here are some wonderful websites for all of you..please visit them...they have helped me a lot. Get yourselves a good "multivitamin"..and a good "hair vitamin". Make sure that is says "USP" on the label..that means it is "standardized..and easily absorbed into your system." Good luck to you all. If you have any questions for me...just ask. So check your nails too. Also..Zinc is a good thing to take for hair and skin...60mg. CoEnzyme-10 30mg.. Biotin..is a must. It helps hair and nails. Gelatin capsules. Silica is good also. But if you go to these websites..you will learn all about that stuff... Good luck to all of you..please note that I feel for you..as I too had hair down past my butt.
