CONFUSION??????DR SAM anyone please

I have just been on Holiday and had a strange experience there.

I have been on metformin for months now, and on had a period on the week of the months and was due for one on the 26/07 which did not happen, so I waited 2 weeks and took a Pregnancy test in the evening and it was possitive then to make sure I did one th following morning and it was negative,,,,, so I went and had a blood test done, and that too was negative, I have had cramping and like butterfly flutterings in my lower abodomen,

What I want to know is how can it be positive then negative, is there any ohter check I can do m can metformin give a false positive on a pg test,

has anyone else had this,,,,,,
