Avandia is the next generation drug to Rezulin. Since that one worked so well, then ask your doctor about Avandia.

On a side note, I saw an ad for avandia the other day and read it thoroughly. It was interesting that there was a notice in it, on the main page, not the "fine print" back page, that if you have irregular periods and aren't menopausal, then you may ovulate more and to take appropriate pregnancy precautions.
