Re: Mood Swings and Depression

I think you'll hear a lot of the women here talking about mood swings and depression. Some women are on meds. Personally, I only have my problems when I'm not as strict with my diet as I need to be. My metabolism is such that I need to be extremely low carb. If I don't eat a snack on time, I get irritable, have mood swings, etc. However, if I then eat a snack, it resolves pretty quickly. If I've been less than perfect for a day or more, then the depression creeps in, but resolves once I'm strict for a day or so.

Hope this helps, Renee
