I am currently on glucophage 1000mg 2x day and spironolactone 50mg 3xday. every other week i have bloating, breast tenderness and cramps. This goes on for about 6 days, followed by heavy bleeding for about 3 days. Then I get about about 7 days of feeling "normal" and it begins again. My gp and my gynecologist can't seem to find out why. I do not want Birth control pills.
