I absolutely hate that ring. Mine has subsided somewhat since I've been on MEtformin and lost weight. In pictures it looks like I am wearing a brown necklace! I still have very dark brown circles under my eyes that are similar and darkness around my waist. It is called acanthosis nigricans. My elbows are a little better too. It was so embarassing though.. .people thought I didn't wash my elbows!
