Glucophage, Clomid and PregnancyFrom: Laura (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 14 Jul 2001 22:56:05 -0500 (CDT)
I am 32 yrs old and have been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 19. I had been on Rezulin, it was a God send to me, until they took it off the market. Actos didnt work so my doc put me on Glucophage which also did not work. Meaning it did not induce menstrual cycles. So, of course I took Provera to force ovulation. 3 weeks ago I took my first round of Clomid and Glucophage cocktail and was wondering if anyone here has had success with these drugs in getting pregnant. I dont know when to be discouraged. I had tried to get pregnant for 5 yrs when i was in my early 20's with just Clomid with no success. I am a little pessimistic on whether I can get prego's because my symptoms have been so severe for so long. I guess I need to here from someone with a similiar situation that has had success!
