hey i just read a post that triggers a question- when pco first was noticed but still undiagnosed, i went to a dermatologist about my neck. it is dark...like a ring, but the skin is gross....deep lines just looks like tough skin i guess. they diagnosed it as elephantisis or something like that. so now i am turning into an elephant in every sense of the way! anyway, she gave me tons of creams and stuff...i remember lachydrin waw one of the things i had. i dont use anything on it anymore. upon losing a lot of weight in police academy it seemed to subside the lines. the dark ring - well thats another issue. i try to stay tan so it doesnt stand out. but later on when diagnosed with pco i went to an endo dr. they tested me for cushings and i foget what the other one is called. opposite of cushings. i think president kennedy had it. anyway, i never was diagnosed with cushings....i suspect something. now another question- can you get an insurance company to cover a tummy tuck with pco- since it is somehting that causes ultimately a large tummy? char
