Hi Brandi, The Dermatologist I saw Rx me "Lac Hydrin" which is an ammonium lactate cream for the spots on my neck, armpits, stomach and back. It does work. It softens up the patches and they literally just rub away. I've heard that other alpha hydroxy creams work as well, but this lotion that I use is great--but it's prescription only. I know what you mean about those constant questions. I'm 25 and still have people ask me that. They think it's dirt! Well, you can visit a Derm. and see what they suggest for it. I can vouch for this cream I'm currently using though. Hope that helps!
