Avandia Dosages?

Hello -

I'm curious to know what dosages of Avandia are working for you. I've been on 4 mg. of Avandia since April (after 7 painful months of Glucophage), and the only thing I have to show for it is about 15 lbs. (which were definitely not needed) - no periods.

My doctor wants to increase my dosage to 8 mg, and I'm wondering if people have had much better success with 8 vs. 4. I'm reluctant to increase the dosage due to the possibility of liver problems.

Thanks - Stacey
