Re: PCOS-MEDICATION digest 496From: Allison (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 2 Jul 2001 08:56:54 -0700 (PDT)
Virginia, Are you refering to Star Tila (also sometimes called Linden flowers)? I'm not familiar with it as an oil however I have used it as an herb tea. It's used more in the hispanic community. It's commonly used for a muscle relaxant, mild sedative or a tummy soother. I've noticed in the herbal lore a tendency of simular herbs being used to assist in various menstral conditions. Such as Chamomile to help with cramps and to help encourage flow sometimes. In my case I've found that simular herbs have helped ease the flow but in my case they didn't trigger the cycle. I would be facinated to hear what you find out about the oul directly. Are you using an essencial oil or something like a "Bach flower remedy"? Allison
