Greetings Ladies,

I want to let you know that there are many wonderful online communities hosted by the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Association (PCOSA) in addition to these message boards owned by the PCOSA and graciously hosted here, by OBGyn.net on the PCOS Pavilion.

The PCOSA has close to 5,000 active list members on 30 moderated public lists that offer support, friendship and information via a wide variety of forums. Just a few of our lists include our Lifestyles list -- dedicated to healthy lifestyles, a weekly newsletter exploring healthy diet, nutrition, stress management and excercise options for women with PCOS, and a non-fertility list for those who wish to talk about PCOS but not issues of parenthood or infertility. We also have lists for those trying to conceive, seeking natural remedies, with eating disorders, going through menopause and many, many more!

One new list I am very excited to announce to you today is our adoption list. This list is for women who are interested in learning more about adoption, are in process of adopting, or, have already adopted. During the month of July, we have successful author and well-known adoption advocate Patricia Johnston, M.S. guest hosting our adoption list. All list members will have the opportunity to submit questions to Pat.
