Low hormone levels - Dr. Sam

My endocrinologist recently diagnosed me with PCOS and started me on treatment with Glucophage. My concern is that all of my hormone levels came back low! The estradiol, androstenedione, DHEAS, FSH/LH, testosterone, and progesterone levels were all at or below the low end of the reference range. I do have a weight problem, an elevated 2-hour glucose tolerance test, and very abnormal periods. Is is possible to have such low hormone levels and still have PCOS?

Please advise! Thanks! Erin
