Hello Renee.. I am new to this board. Your post caught my attention. My glucose test also came back OK, and my GYN put me on Glucophage anyway. I started taking it in September. He switched me to Glucophage XR a month after starting. I like it so much better, because it is only once a day as compared to 3 x's a day before. I have had a regular period (32-35 days) ever since! I am so thankful for that, but I am dissapointed that I have not lost weight and the hair growth is still there. The low carb diet is hard for me too, and it is expensive to eat that way. Good Luck
