First, try taking your medication early in the day, so it will have a chance to regulate your insulin more effectively when you are more active. Also, controlling your carb intake will help control the ups & downs you are experiencing. Your body reacts to a sugar/carb binge by dumping extra insulin...thus the "low" feeling you have after eating a big carb meal. Is it really your blood sugar that is low, or your insulin that is extremely high? More than likely it is your insulin that is off the chart. Most PCOS'er aren't truly hypoglycemic, but rather Hyperinsulinemic. (Do you understand the difference?) Have a glucose tolerance test done that shows your insulin levels too. I didnt understand alot about this until my doctor showed me my insulin levels on the 3 hour GTT. There is alot of information out there on what you can do to better regulate your system. Diet plays alot into this whole syndrome. Just lowering your carbs can help your body overall & it might even help your body lose some weight. You've been on battling this for awhile, but you can start to see results if you have the correct information. You can do this! Good luck, Kimberly At Wed, 27 Jun 2001, Zowie wrote: >
