hi i am new to this forum i live in england and i have been diagnosed with pcos last year however the same thing happened to me that has happened to a lot of all the other pcos sufferers.

i was concerned with not having a period

my doctor told me not to worry and as for my weight he looked at me as though i crave on cream cakes and eat like a pig yet i dont it was only after looking up about pcos that i realise something ws wrong

i was finally reffered to the hospital to see a gynea this appointment is booked for the 30/6

i got really impatient and could wait untill then so i went private to see a gynea and had a hysteroctopy and endo biopsy i am yet to know more about this when i go to get the results.

however he has advised i can have metformin he suggest 500mg 1 a day for 1 week and 2 a day the next week and then 3 a day the following week. does this sound ok to you

also i have gone on a diet which is calculated on my weight 19 stone 2lb and it works out that i can eat 2500 a day cals and carb 250 i go the gym to do 45 mins cardiovascular work 3 times a week i am eating on a typical day

breakfast eggs and bacon

lunch salad

dinner chicken with either veg etc or will eat what i fancy and make sure it doesnt exceed 250 carb or 2500 cals

is this ok

look forward to your reply

lin
