Hi ladies, i went to see dr.glueck 3 weeks back(first visit) and they ran all those tests. i got a copy of the results last evening.. i was shocked to see how haywire my hormones were! I have been reading all the messages on the forum regularly and i have seen some people discussing values and figures and i used to think mine wont be that bad, as my weight and other symptoms dont seem to be as bad as they describe, but i had a big shock last evening, even though my insulin levels were low, the testosterone, LH, FSH were all totally out of range, and my cholesterol, LDL, trigylcerides were too high, am quite scared right now, i am praying that glucophage works for me, i have lost 8 pounds on it, but weight was never my biggest problem, the inability to conceive was my most primary concern.. i feel quite depressed with this revelation of how far i have deteriorated since my earlier tests.. taken about a year ago. but am keeping my faith and thinking maybe gluc. will help fix it after all.. i have an appt in 2 months for checking if i have made progress..
