Hi Terry,
I too have factor V Leiden mutation and was taken off bcp right away. I
thought I was going to be in big trouble since the bcp were conrtoling
the symptoms so well (well masking them anyway).
My family dr put me on avandia and I have been having good sucess with
that.
My endo agreed with the meds and the hematologist refuses to allow me
estrogen or provera (progestrin?)
