Dear Helly

I have only recently been diagnosed so I am still experimenting with medication. At the moment I am taking promensil which is actually for menopause - as the body is also deficient in hormones then. It is a red clover extract and totally herbal. I have also been told that saspirilla and liquorice will help - but have not got my hands on any yet.

As for a BCP - Diane 35 is about the only one worth looking at.

Often painful sex is due to lack of natural body fluids, even if you think you are producing enough fluid - try a good lubricant. It always makes sex easier anyway.
