Re: Metformin and Birth Control?

Hi~
Kentucky girls, hooray!
I have never smoked either and was in pretty good health, which is why the DVT/PE came as such an awful shock. I'm wondering if I should be on the coumadin forever, considering my test result for anti-phospholipid syndrome was only a moderate positive. Maybe I should consult another hematologist in a year and ask about the possiblity of going off the coumadin to be re-tested?
I'm so very excited that you're pregnant and still taking blood thinners. My regular doctor (a total frat boy) told me that because I'm on blood thinners forever, I probably couldn't ever have a baby. I'm so happy that this may not be the case.
Please let me know how you're doing and take care of yourself!
Much love,
