Thank you for the information Dr. Sam. I am now on two pills (500mg each) in the AM and two in the PM. So I am still at 2000mg, but it is now spread out instead of all at once. My doctor actually increased me prior to getting my most recent blood work which showed my testosterone down from 56 to 32. He says he wants it around 20 prior to me trying to get pregnant and this dosage will decrease my levels even more. My GYN says to wait until the beginning of July to see if I get another period on my own and then I will start on Clomid (50mg). If it doesn't come on my own I will take provera. What is your opinion on taking Met while pregnant? I have read some take it through the first trimester, some stop immediately and some take it the length of the pregnancy. Does it have any impact on the miscarriage rate? I am trying to be as informed as possible. This web site has been a God send. (For background info: I did not start menstruating until almost 16 and was put on BCPs almost immediately to regulate my cycle, I have the body hair growth, my hair is thinning, acne has started since I stopped the BCPs, but I am not overweight. I was around 132lbs. 5'6" prior to starting Met and changing my diet and now I am at 126lbs. so I am very lucky in that respect.)
