This question haas emerged here earlier. There are several points to be discussed with your dr. 1. There is no clear dose/effect relation between metformin and PCOS. If your testosterone decreased at 1000 mg, there seems to be little reason in increasing it. 2. M edical reason would suggest to spread a dose over the day. The only explanation would be, to decrease your side effects by taking it at bedtime. 3. If you are insulin resistant, your sugar was tested (together with insulin). For your info
