Glucophage dosageFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 14 Jun 2001 11:50:49 -0500 (CDT)
I was diagnosed in March with insulin resistance and pcos and prescribed 1000mg of glucophage at dinner time. I went back this week and he increased my dosage to 2000mg at dinner time. This change was made prior to the results of my most recent blood work. I have not heard or read of anyone taking that high a dosage or all at one time like this. I am interested in hearing the glucophage regimen other women have been put on - info such as dosage amount and time of day taken. I want to go back and ask my doctor questions, but right now for all I know everyone takes it this way. Also, do you all have your sugar tested ever? I do not. In my most recent blood work all they told me about was my testosterone level and that it has gone down significantly. Let me know! Thank you all.
