Susie,
Thanks for your info. I had been off the Glucophage for five dyas when
my insulin levels were drawn. As far as the potassium, I was told to
stay away from it because I'm also on aldactone which is potassium
sparing, I believe. Regarding the lactic acidosis thing -- I don't
think I had that yet, but instead had the warning signals. Plus, when I
went off the Glucophage the leg pain went away. So...it makes me think
it was the Gluc. I have been adding a little potassium to my diet.
