Spironolactone, Diane and pregnancy

Dr. Sam,

I have been on Diane 35 and Spironolactone for almost three years. My husband and I feel ready to have a baby. How long before trying to conceive should I stop taking the medication? Is one of them safer right before conception than the other (e.g. can I continue taking Diane for a few months after stopping Spironolactone?) BTW, I read somewhere that Spironolactone is safe when you breastfeed, and so are BCPs. Does this apply to Diane as well? Thank you for your time.
