Hi Laura,

As faar as I am aware, d-chiro-inositol is no vitamin. It really seems to be increasing insulin sensitivity on the receptor level. There is a company that manufactures it in pure form and has conducted a clinical trial on it. I remember someone on this board to have participated. For your info
