I have an appointment mid July to discuss it with a specialist. However, my question is: I read that exciessive alcohol intake is not a good idea, because it can increase your chances of that fatal disease- but I also heard that mainly this information is for diabetics because their kidneys usually aren't working normally to begin with. Do you think the occasional drink is ok while on metformin, or how many of you have cut alcohol out of your diets all together? Thanks! Next message: Diane: "Re: May I say..
