Shelley, Thanks so much for the encouraging words!! I can tell you I was pretty down after my first ultrasound after my first round of clomid. The OPK that I took said that things were working right and I got hope that for the first time in my life my body was actually doing what it was supposed to. I guess another question I have is if the other fertility drugs work so well and so fast as I have seen others post about why strectch out the process and cause dissappointment month after month with no results from meds like clomid? It seems to me that it has the lowest success rate of all the meds used. I have had a lot better feeling about the whole pregnancy issue since encountering all the women on here who have gotten pregnant with PCOS. It really give me hope!! I got to an infertility specialist and in his office is also a reproductive endocrinologist if I need it, but he deals with people like us everyday and has for years, so I'm glad that I have him. He got me started on BCP about 2 1/2 years ago so that I didn't have to wonder when my next period was going to come. I hated that!!! You said that you belonged to a chapter of a PCOS support group in Indiana, do you know if there is one in Iowa? Or do you know how I can find out? I think it would be a great thing for me to get involved with. Thank you again so much for your words of welcome and your wonderful kids for giving me hope!!! Melissa :)
