tried all corn removers and it didnt go away.. they hurt quite a bit.. they have been around for more than 3 months now.. when i was talking to somebody the other day they said that if one has diabetes then these things dont heal?? has anybody else had these things.. or is this a totally unrelated thing??<

You don't mention anything about the "growths," but if they're on the bottom of your feet, more than likely, they're plantars warts. When I've had them in the past, they were anywhere from small to large, sort of clear growths that didn't respond to anything. Corn removers are primarily a beta hydroxy acid (salycilic acid--sp?) and are used to kill the overgrowth of skin (painful) that are called "corns." Warts are viral in nature and short of having them actually removed, they will go away eventually on their own.

When a diabetic doesn't "heal," it usually means a sore, cut, or some other open wound that doesn't heal appropriately due to circulatory problems. Unless this is an open wound, I wouldn't be concerned about that aspect. But if you think it isn't a wart or are really uncomfortable with it, go to your doctor or dermatologist to have it checked out.
